Wholesale Paper Straws by Diameter
Three diameters for three kinds of drink
This range of paper straws is built around bore size. The 8mm straw is the standard diameter for soft drinks, juices and iced coffee. The 10mm straw handles smoothies, milkshakes and thicker blends. The 12mm straw is sized for bubble tea, passing tapioca pearls and popping boba that jam a narrower bore. All three are 230mm long, white with a black stripe, and individually wrapped, so a counter can stock one diameter or run all three against its menu.
Paper straws that meet the plastic straw ban
These paper straws are the compliant replacement for the plastic straws phased out when England's ban took effect in October 2020. They are biodegradable paper and food-contact safe under UK and EU Regulation 1935/2004. Individual wrapping keeps each straw sealed until it is handed over, which suits takeaway counters and event service where straws sit out in dispensers. No FSC, PFAS-free or compostable certification is claimed for this range, as supplier documentation has not been confirmed.
Full carton or single pack
Each diameter of paper straws comes as a full carton for standing orders or a single pack for trial menus, pop-ups and sites with limited storage. There is no minimum order, and diameters can be mixed in one order. Tiered trade pricing applies on pallet quantities through a trade account, with same-day dispatch from Newcastle on orders placed before 1pm.
