8oz is the small-serve ripple-cup size — for espresso, cortado, macchiato and the classic 6oz-in-an-8oz flat white. Brown kraft outer, triple-wall ripple structure providing insulation without needing a paper sleeve. Sits inside the BioFlex eco-line as the small format alongside the 12oz sibling for latte and cappuccino service.
Full carton or single pack — both retail-ready
Two pack sizes. Full carton (500 cups) is the standing-order for coffee shops, cafés and dark-kitchen espresso bars — twenty inner packs of 25. Single retail pack (25 cups) suits event pop-ups, market stalls or sites trialling the BioFlex line.
PLA-lined — industrially compostable, not recyclable, not microwave-safe
The PLA (plant-based bioplastic) lining makes the ripple hot-drink-safe, but disposal claims need to be precise. Industrially compostable to EN 13432 through commercial infrastructure. Not recyclable — PLA contaminates the paper stream and disqualifies the cup from mixed-paper collection. Not home-compostable — PLA needs sustained industrial-composter temperature. Not microwave-safe — remove drink before reheating.

Is the 8oz ripple cup recyclable?
No. The PLA lining that makes the cup hot-drink-safe contaminates the paper-recycling stream, so ripple cups are excluded from mixed-paper recycling. Disposal route is industrial composting where infrastructure exists; general waste otherwise.
