Curuba and elderflower, spelled out
Curuba is a South American banana passionfruit, and elderflower is the other half of the pairing. Neither is obvious from a can marked Green Edition, which makes this the clearest case in the range for naming the flavour on the shelf ticket — a customer who does not recognise curuba will not pick the can up on colour alone.
Case format and placement
Twelve 250ml cans per case, RRP printed on each, GB-supplied and manufactured in Austria. The Green Edition is usually placed with the Apple Edition and the Blue Edition, both of which also carry flavours the colour name does not state, with the Pink Edition as the familiar anchor of the block.
Frequently Asked Questions
What flavour is the Green Edition?
Curuba and elderflower, per the specification. Curuba is a South American banana passionfruit.
Does the flavour need calling out on shelf?
It helps more here than on most Editions, because neither curuba nor elderflower is suggested by the name or the colour of the can.
